I have taken private violin instruction for fourteen years, and my field of experience ranges from small solo concerts to intimate audiences to string quartet music to chamber string ensembles to leading a full piece collegiate orchestra.

I am Suzuki trained and I teach modified Suzuki Method, but I am not Suzuki certified.  I have also had experience with the Galamian method of violin instruction and frequently incorporate it into my personal style of teaching.

I have not had any formal viola instruction; however, beginning to intermediate violin and beginning to intermediate viola are similar to the point of identicalness, so if your beginning student favors viola, I will happily teach them!
